Weird icon in WP 8.1 App Switcher

I opened a Word document from the SkyDrive app (or OneDrive for you modern kids) I opened the app switcher and noted the following weird icon. Any explanation as to what it is?

I'm stumped. Maybe some placeholder that you're not supposed to see?
