New mysterious Windows 10 build lab

Post by DiskingRound »

So today I went on BuildFeed and noticed this build with a mysterious lab:

"th2" without fbl. Is this part of the Redstone project? Or is it something different, a mystery? Thanks.

The "th" most likely means Threshold, but that doesn't mean it's part of the Redstone project.

Here's some possibilities:
Threshold R2 fork for server
Service Pack/Feature Pack fork
th2 fork
spline fork
fork fork
fork fork fork
bork bork bork

...

In other words, unless someone happens to work for Microsoft and knows the logic of their lab names, speculation is all you're going to get in terms of knowing what that buildlab is for. My honest guess is that it is just someone's personal buildlab for testing features not intended to ship with 10.0.

For me, it's the "winmain" branch for Redstone. Actually, there are 2 build compiled.
