Alright, time for a Moderator intervention. While I agree there is strong evidence that the picture is not genuine, I have so far not seen any conclusive evidence that the author is DiskingRound. Just because it was based on his fakes, does not automatically make him the author. Anyone can create a fake based on his concepts.

So let me repeat that while the screenshot itself is fair game for dispute or even attack, no person is. And *IF* you have evidence, please post your evidence in a polite way.

I don't think that's real. The winver box should say "Microsoft Windows", not "Windows 10 Pro Technical Preview".

It says 3:04 AM. Mexico is on UTC-6 timezone, therefore you are (at least) one hour behind me... unless you live in Sonora or Baja California... and you posted yours at 5:01PM Eastern time, therefore 4:01PM your time. (or 3:01 or 2:01). Unless your clock is horribly out of sync, you fabricated that picture. The screenshot you're using was posted at 4:44PM my time, so... something isn't adding up. Even if you had your clock out of sync, it would say 3:01 AM or earlier, not 3:04.

Plus the fact that by default, when you have an internet connection on Windows, it automatically syncs to the timezone selected, and I doubt you picked one like that. Also, I think all of the VM franchises use system-sync...

Either way a screenshot is no proof. Making that up in PS would be a matter of minutes and that includes the time it takes to pour a cup of coffee...

Also, Microsoft doesn't send you anything, it's not like you're in a special VIP line where MS spends time and effort sending you discs. If you're a developer you download the release from their developer pages, if you're a partner you download it from their partner pages. You're neither. And in both ways you would be so tied up in NDAs that you wouldn't just put out screenshots like it were your pictures of your pet...

Don't make up stories, and don't claim screenshots to be any proof as they are easy to fabricate. If you want us to believe your claims then you leak that build in any way you want and prove it exists, otherwise I suggest you keep it to yourself and keep quiet about it.
