I found this on an old FTP Server, but I don't know how to open .144 files on a Mac (the only computer in the friend's house I am in now). So no screenshots.
So, here is a download link to the 144 files so you can try to open it and see if it's useless or not:

Hope it's useful and not useless like my CB06 NT 4.0 "beta".

Re: (OFFER) DR-DOS 7.03 Lite
We can pretty much deduce that '.144' means 1.44mb floppy disk image...
More information on this format (and look at that, the same copy of DR-DOS in question is mentioned...) :

Re: (OFFER) DR-DOS 7.03 Lite
I converted the .144 files to .IMA using WinImage on a Windows machine:

Unfortunately, it isn't bootable, however. Can someone get this working?
Also, I'm a bit confused by the release notes (7.02) and the command.com version (7.03).

Seriously Brandon?! Do you ever read the replies to your posts all the way through? I didn't include that link for my health here!
If you had read the posts on that forum that I linked to, you'd know that using WinImage doesn't work, and that you have to use a different tool (MKDSKZIP.EXE, which is on said FTP server along with the images.....), to write the images to a [virtual] floppy.

Edit:
Surprise Surprise. It works, and is bootable.
Now try again.

The result is more bad than .144 format.

Re: (OFFER) DR-DOS 7.03 Lite
Thank you for the tool, user99672. I am installing DR-DOS 7.03 "Lite" as we speak...
Edit: It doesn't work. Invalid Opcode error. I will try this fix.
Edit 2: Got it working on a Windows PC with VPC 2007:

But in this case, he was talking about converting for the purpose of using in a VM, for which purpose the .144 format is useless. Maybe you should, you know, read everything that is being said instead of only what you disagree with.ibmpc5150 wrote:The result is more bad than .144 format.
