Windows 10 build 9888
WinBeta has gotten their hands on a new Windows 10 build. The zPC settings is now the default Control Panel and there are even more animations for maximizing and minimizing. We need this xD

Probably not. I used to be a writer for WinBeta...now I kind of regret not being there anymore.ovctvct wrote:Cool. Will it be released?
Re: Windows 10 build 9888
question is, is numbering 10 just a textbox control with that name
or is the kernel really compiled under 10
also did anyone noticed that there are no more those hex values on desktop watermark
or the famous "microsoft confidential"
or even a "lab" name

The kernel is 10.0 and there is no special lab for partners anymore so no more confidential watermark eitherwasabilee wrote:question is, is numbering 10 just a textbox control with that name

Re: Windows 10 build 9888
I wonder what will be the final build number. Nice videos.
Almost always lost in my PC ...
Re: Windows 10 build 9888
I really like the new window animations. Subtle, but adds to the whole experience.

Re: Windows 10 build 9888
Since WinBeta got there hands on a NT 10.0 build, I would love to see a article about apps and drivers compatibility with this build
Re: Windows 10 build 9888
The problem is that older devices , which have drivers only up to Vista and/or 7, might not work on Win 10 ,just because they have changed the kernel version.
Re: Windows 10 build 9888
I think that changing the kernel version is not only to change numbers and presentedin much more significant reasons: increased stability, security.
Well about older devices, I think maybe will come new compatible drivers?
