Disabling Hardware Acceleration NT 5 1877

Post by yourepicfailure »

I recently installed Winnt5 1877 in Qemu. Vmware SVGA drivers are installed, and it works OK. Except that the cursor acceleration is killing the experience. (don't tell me to install in VMware or whatnot, I want this portable) I know of the way in XP to disable acceleration, but what about this build? Nothing relevant exists on the internet.

And yes, I know this is beta, and they contain bugs or whatnot.

EDIT: This build DOES NOT appear to have 'troubleshooting' available in Display Advanced settings, so following 2k's standard procedure DOESN'T work.

Since NT 5.0 is Windows 2000 Beta, the procedures of disabling hardware acceleration is the same there.
