[OFFER] Windows NT Workstation 3.5 Korean Beta
I found this CD in the attic. It says "KOREAN BETA" / "NOT FOR SALE" etc.
The disc is not in a good shape, a lot of scratches on the surface, but I was able to dump it using CloneCD.
I don't know whether this verson is already leaked, if it isn't, I'll upload on the FTP.
Below are some screenshots:
The latest build of the PCem is the only VM software that doesn't fail.
Please note that the WinNT 3.5 Korean doesn't have the localized UI. Just IME, fonts, and some locale settings. Fully localized interface came with NT 3.51 in 1996.

Holy cow! Please upload this to mega.co.nz ASAP so we can preserve it! Thanks for your contribution
Re: [OFFER] Windows NT Workstation 3.5 Korean Beta
So this is basically build 807 (the RTM), but experimentally in Korean?
Nice find though.
Nice find though.

Is it really an RTM or a pre-release build? What was the RTM build number?

Re: [OFFER] Windows NT Workstation 3.5 Korean Beta
How did you do that? I couldn't.
The RTM build number is 807 as we all know, but the files from this build are dated 2/14/1995. My guess is beta testing of the Korean language for Windows NT 3.5.mrpijey wrote:Is it really an RTM or a pre-release build? What was the RTM build number?

Re: [OFFER] Windows NT Workstation 3.5 Korean Beta
To be honest the CD does not seem from Microsoft, but rather pretty good clone of the layout?
a) The typo "resorved"
b) The layout of footer's text never been used, the font aswell for NTs was Times New Roman. The CD Number there never used by Microsoft too (not any of the following formats: 000-000-000, 000-00000, 00000, X00-0000 etc).
c) Considering the copyright date, NT Server 3.5 RTM CD had © 1985-1994, not 1995.
Nice find though, I don't guess a Korean NT 3.5 is easy to find, even though it's RTM

Re: [OFFER] Windows NT Workstation 3.5 Korean Beta
Also, backwards R in the registered trademark symbol between Microsoft and Windows? Plus, many fonts are wrong, although that may be to do it being Korean. Files are also dated 2/14/1995

And Windows NT Korean betas are(includes 3.5, 3.51, 4.0) English NT RTM Build evaluation.
Example, Windows NT 3.51 Korean Beta is English NT 3.51 Service Pack 4 and NT 4.0 Korean beta is English RTM(NT 3.51 Korean RTM is include Service Pack 5, NT 4.0 Korean RTM is include Service Pack 1)
Re: [OFFER] Windows NT Workstation 3.5 Korean Beta
As MunKeongSu said, early Korean NT betas were based on English RTM version.
And this disc is magazine supplement, not directly from MS.
I didn’t notice ‘resorved’ typo before, btw.
Below is a rough translation of this dialog, FYI.

About the English RTM versions used for international betas:
Don't forget the Japanese NT 3.51 beta..... (It's build 1057, you know )
