Upload issues

When uploading files , I get some of these problems/errors.

• It restarts the file from the beginning(even if I had set the option to resume)
  It does this quite often.
  It used to give STOR error when it fails the first time after transfer starts downloading with access denied error(even though it appeared to get fixed when I moved the file from the external hard disk to the internal disk , the other two problems on the top still happen).

I'm using the latest Filezilla version. I think that it is an inherent problem in FTP , as it does not occur using SSH.
What should I do? How can I solve the problem?
