Microsoft "Normandy"?

Have a look at this. Is this an OS, or a piece of software? I'm curious.

seems to be a bunch of servers. Looks to me from the screenshots given like it's related to Exchange.

I didn't check (for 1 month I haven't logged in to the FTP), but I think we don' t have it. You can ask a question to mrpijey.computebrute wrote:I've already looked at this. Do we have it on the FTP? I could not find it.cantasan99 wrote:I found this, hope it'll help

Normandy was a codename for any Nokia Lumia Phone too.
Re: Microsoft "Normandy"?
Is this Windows NT Datacenter, or Back Office? Just guessing.
Please don't forget to be respectful to each other.
Re: Microsoft "Normandy"?
Up for auction is Microsoft Normandy 1.0 beta 2 build 7321. It was compiled in September of 1996. This auction is for the original Microsoft CD-ROM, which has been tested on original hardware and has been confirmed to work as was intended. There are no blemishes to the data portion of the CD-ROM disc. The images are of the actual disc and screenshots of the installation process on Windows NT 4.0. Microsoft Normandy was a platform for commercial internet services. It included many components such as email, news, chat, white pages and more. This beta CD was never released to the general public, and is a rare and interesting artifact from the early days of the internet. This would be a valuable addition to any collection.
Windows 10 will be the last version of Windows and after we will have Midori or an another kernel... I'm sure.
So on this new kernel "classic win32 x86 software" can't be used but with some trick, we can use WinRT software on this new kernel ?

Re: Microsoft "Normandy"?
I emailed the guy of the auction. He decided to keep the CD but he's going to make an image for me of the disk.
Re: Microsoft "Normandy"?
He has some other rare stuff, but I can't get his email address. If you can ask him to image more of his collection.giantsteen wrote:I emailed the guy of the auction. He decided to keep the CD but he's going to make an image for me of the disk.

Re: Microsoft "Normandy"?
It asks for information such as phone number etc. and when I type it in, it says my information is invalid.
So I can't contact the seller.
