What happened to Longhorn 4083

Post by AlexN »

Not sure if this was explained before

-

After launching the ISO for this build, I am taken to WinPE where an elaborate multi paged explanation by a group called "Coderz" or "Coders" Explains it was the final build before being reset and how they made it stable to be released to the community. Anyone know what's going on with that?
...and I promise on my bones - I built this home, I built it up for you.

ratsrock, what you are describing here is build 4093, not 4083.. As to why it is like that: 4093 can't boot on it's own. The ISO was broken and Coderz fixed it with 4033 winpe which launches the original 4093 setup. I recall Lukas trying a while ago to get 4093 to boot with it's own files, but as expected 4093 is too broken.
