Yes, there exist Additions for Windows 3.1x Virtual Machine



Designed for Connectix Virtual PC, these Additions add mouse integration and time synchronization between guest and host systems (for shared folders, you need install DOS Additions. The latter can be combined with Windows 3.1x Additions without any problem).

Where can you get Connectix Virtual PC for Windows ? Due to Area 13 server closure, it is no longer available here. Mrpijey plans to restore it in the future, though. Now, I can suggest to download a trial version of Connectix Virtual PC 5.2 at Microsoft Download Center => http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... x?id=31013

Users of Microsoft Virtual PC : mouse integration doesn't work at all. However, time synchronization works fine

Do the display drivers from these additions work on VPC2004/VPC2007?

Thanks for your find, but it doesn't work.

I have a Windows for Workgroups 3.11 installation on Virtual PC 2007. I DID copy the files to C:\Windows\System, edited the lines, but after I give it a full reset (not CTRL+ALT+DEL), it tells me "Error loading USER.EXE".

Help, please?

However, time synchronization between guest and host systems still works. Don't install mouse driver if you use Virtual PC 2007.

Ey Big Monstro, does these video drivers work with VPC2007 AND do they support True Color?

@ supra107 > Yes, these video driver works fine with VPC2007 and fully supports True Color, from 640x480 up to 1024x768.

==> Select 16.7 millions color ; that option enable 32-bit color (instead of 24-bit color, which is not supported by Virtual PC).
