This is the original iso, 3.70GB one, not the leaked one before (3.78GB).
The leaked one before was edited with UltraISO, without "Optimize Files" ticked in the properties, but this original one was built with CDImage -o so it's 88MB smaller.

Sorry for doublepost, but I realized that the "Contact jmaxson or arunku" is not infact wrong - my MSDN 8.1 iso also has it. This iso may be legit afterall, or at least very properly rebuilt.

I've reuploaded the new version now. It looks unmodified, no ei.cfg, and dates look OK. Hopefully this one is the real deal. Enjoy!

Well, for the one on the Megaupload, I simply removed the ei.cfg, and installation started. So does it started

Thought I'd share some strange reg keys I found in this update:

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ImmersiveShell\Switcher\AppTipDesktopDelay
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ImmersiveShell\Switcher\AppTipImmersiveDelay

Both are DWORD. They set the delay of the tip for the app switcher (the thing on the left side of the screen) for both the desktop and the immersive environment. They aren't present in 'vanilla' 8.1, neither they change the behaviour of the tip when addedin vanilla.

I also found HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ImmersiveShell\Switcher\AllowSlowAnimations

but it doesn't seem to do anything.
