Hi folks, I am working this days with different versions of Windows Media Player, and I was successful in creating MSI installer of almost every each beta and final version. But here I'm posting only Betas in MSI Installers.

I've used Customized Deployment Kit for Windows Media Player 9 for their creation. But MSI installers contains only untouched genuine original files.
INFO: When you install Windows Media Player 11 versions 'validation' is auto-passed on installation, and will appear on the first start.

Hey Matrox, can you create a msi for WMP 7.1 so it will install on windows 95? and a msi for WMP 8.0 so that it will install on windows 98? (i know some builds of WMP 8 will install on windows ME so it must have win9x support )

The newest version of Microsoft MSI Installer that 9x-Based Windows Versions supported is Microsoft Installer 2.0, Which is from around 2001, Not sure which Microsoft/Windows Installer version maxtorix used for his WMP Installers

Is it possible to install WMP 7 MSI on Windows 7?

If you uncheck Media Components from Programs and Features, and then tray to install (of course, accept all showing errors)... maybe is possible.
