Create a directory "C: \ explorer7" Put him in the C: \ Windows \ explorer.exe, C: \ Windows \ en-US \ explorer.exe.mui and C: \ Windows \ ru-RU \ explorer.exe.mui of the system corresponding to the bit W7, unpack to the same the contents of the attachment is an archive should be able to C: \ explorer7 \ explorer.exe C: \ explorer7 \ en-US \ explorer.exe.mui C: \ explorer7 \ ru-RU \ explorer.exe.mui C: \ explorer7 \ patchex7.exe C: \ explorer7 \ wrp32.dll C: \ explorer7 \ wrp64.dll run patchex7.exe, select 7, confirm the output from the current conductor and the system. When you log in, we have a working Explorer 7 - ki.
Rolling back the changes, restart patchex7.exe and the choice of 8. Click Start, Questions - Start menu pin list and MFU list does not work. Instead, in the Start menu always shows "All Programs" list. - Attach the application to start menu, drag & drop to place it on the taskbar. - Select "Pin to Start" point contact. add menu item in the Start menu, All Programs list.
No Metro: - Win + P does not show. - Metro program will not work. - Auto pop-up windows will not be displayed. - "Do you have a new program for processing this material," pop-up windows are displayed. You should use the default program to change the association. - Pop-up Windows Network icon does not show, as the Metro UI will not start. - You can not manage the Wi-Fi networks. Use third-party programs to do so. - You can not control the VPN / dial-up connection. Starting rasphone for this. - You can not add new users. Run control userpasswords2 for this. - "Choose default program to open this file type" is still underground, and user interface work.
No new properties of the conductor: - There is no default input language indicator. The inclusion of the language bar through the Control Panel-> Language-> Advanced Settings-> Use your desktop the Language bar. - No more problems with a multi-panel system. Perhaps the use of MultiMon.
Also pay attention to: The main menu is shown in explorer7 have the same labels that explorer8 show on the start screen. Thus, the changes that you represent here and there, the best backup desktop.lnk from the Start menu. Windows Explorer is attached to the tray-explorer8, so you have to detach it and attach explorer7, and vice versa, if you roll back the changes.
The conductor strip is still there, it is not related explorer.exe! The use of explorer.exe from Windows 8 will not allow DP to solve many problems, it shell32 which was cut from the Start menu features.

This is basically just the same idea as 98lite 1.0 (using the Windows 95 Explorer shell in Windows 98), only in this case, the Windows 7/Server 2008 R2 Explorer shell is being used on Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012. No offence, but I don't see how this is anything unusual.
Also, the same thing is fundamentally true of earlier Windows 8 builds with the old shell, where full Metro hasn't even been known to have been enabled. Really, although this is still interesting, and although this could still be quite useful, it's still not like there are enough API differences between Windows 7 and Windows 8 to make the components from the one theoretically incompatible with the other.
Not that I don't find this interesting or anything, just that it's not nearly as far fetched as some people might think.

EDIT: Just tried it! It is awesome! Although it's still in Beta, it's pretty sweet! Interesting things: Blue bottom part in the Start menu continues through the Aero border: Explorer restarted once, and when it did it came back to the Windows 8 explorer with Metro start screen.
Hope they get the full thing working soon! And that this works in the final build of Windows 8

Yeah, it's nice for some people but :
1. They hate Metro but want to be inn but then, what's the point of having Windows 8? 2. Though, it's still just an experiment, it has it's own bugs but can be interesting to test even for users that like Metro.
