This might be an odd question, but its been bothering me for some time and I couldn't find a straight answer.

Does anyone know which libraries Microsoft used to build ScanDisk's UI ? I'm talking about the DOS-Mode version from 9x. I know there's *curses for UNIX systems and the like and Borland's Turbo Vision but I'd like to know exactly what they used for ScanDisk (and similar; probably ScanReg is build the same, UI-wise).

Anything checked :P
If I remember correctly this was done with COW, which is in the MS-DOS 6.x leaked source.

Yep, you're right. Its here. Libs, docs, everything in [root]\45 . Had to install Word 6 to read the doc files properly.

Its really interesting how you can learn new stuff by browsing through these files. I just discovered why Cartesian coordinates are used upside-down !
