Hi, I stumbled upon this CD. What is that? A Windows 98 FE to SE update? The files are dated 05/06/99. It did not come with a key.

PS. Is there a list containing all the Windows CD ID numbers?

It upgrades your Windows 98 to Windows 98 Second Edition.

(July 26, 1999) Existing Windows 98 users can upgrade to Second Edition with the convenient Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition Updates CD to get the latest features and system enhancements.

You must have Microsoft® Windows 98 installed on your machine in order to install the Microsoft® Windows 98 Second Edition Updates. This also goes for the Win 98 OEM that are not yet updated to second edition.

There is [or was, anyway] a CD that has printed on it "Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition Updates".

It also has on it "For users of Windows 98" and "Includes system updates, Internet Explorer 5, Internet Connection Sharing, and more" It brings Win98 up to Win98SE.

Do you have the CD? Is it on the server or could it be uploaded?

We've got several lists on the BetaArchive Wiki - one for retail disks, one for MSDN and MSDN Library discs and one for TechNet discs. They are by no means complete, but there's a good many discs listed on the pages.
