Cool. But why would you want a Win98 theme on XP?
Or is there someone who likes the look of Win98.

I actually am using them because some of those bring back old memories. This is a really good find.

I see.

I might download them and try them on a VM with XP.

There's also themes for Windows NT4, which has some additional themes and nt versions of the various files.
  • ancient pathways
  • more windows 95
  • tropical interlude
  • windows nt 4.0
more win95 can be madw from more windows with a different wallpaper.

tropical interlude, ancient pathways and windows nt 4.0 are in the nt4 reskit applications for base and supp 2, the appropriate dll files are also there.

Ohhh... the era of VxDs, MS-DOS and config.sys crashes...

Downloading, but can you upload Windows NT themes too?
If only my software could reach beta.

To properly use themes from Windows 98 Plus!, you will need this theme changer from Microsoft: http://www.filefactory.com/file/cf5dd37/n/Themes.zip

Can you find any other ones? If I recall correctly there was a Peanuts theme.

Peanuts theme was in P!us98, not Win98 itself.

I was looking to see how to wrap up the themes i have listed, which are 98ish, but not in Win98.

Themes, huh? I kind of miss the old "Baseball" theme from my old computer. And a couple of others. But they might not work on my computer, since I have Windows 8.x, which dropped the "Classic" theme. Maybe on one of my XP computers, though... ?
Is back... for now. I'll be active on the BA Wiki, where the "Windows Changelog Collection" might make a bit of a comeback, too.
