Run this in the registry:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Applets\Paint\Capabilities]
create a string value named "CLSID", set its value to "{D3E34B21-9D75-101A-8C3D-00AA001A1652}" , then run glcnd.exe.

CTRL-O (open) or "Use one already installed on this PC" and then "%windir%\system32\glcnd.exe"

It exists, but is unfinished/unfunctional. Screens are coming soon, this looks quite promising...

I can't imagine you came up with this yourself - source?

Ah, so it's hosted in mspaint?
Looks good, meaning I won't have to install adobe bloat anymore

as said, it doesn't work with all documents. this will definetly be improved in future (if not already in M3).

Works for me.
Applets\WordPad also has an "Capabilities" key. I wonder if something can be enabled there. (PDF editing? Would be awesome. Pretty unlikely though.)

Funny, the only PDF that worked for me was the iPad 2 manual, from Apple!! LOL.
I made a blog post about it too! http://www.theproweb.net/2011/04/18/win ... df-reader/

It would be childish of MS to reject Apple related stuff...ThePro wrote:Funny, the only PDF that worked for me was the iPad 2 manual, from Apple!! LOL.

it must be how the document is made... BTW i wonder how people find these secrets...?
Re: Windows PDF Reader 7850
They probably just spend their time in the registry looking for anything that is different from Windows 7.DeFacto wrote:it must be how the document is made... BTW i wonder how people find these secrets...?

It works for me, and with all my PDFs!
