What is Media Refresh?

Microsoft has published a new refresh version of Windows 7 with SP1 integrated ISO media on May 12, 2011. This new issue fixes a minor issue when using the original Windows 7 SP1 media to install Windows 7 w/SP1 on a new PC. The Windows 7 SP1-U (Media Refresh version) adds the installation hotfix KB2534111, and nothing else. No other changes have been made to the Windows 7 with SP1 ISO image despite there are several updates that have been released after the original Windows 7 SP1 was released.

Product Key's are required to use the software, of course.

You refer to the one Windows ISO that is inside an exe compressed file, that is hosted at http://www.microsoft.com/ , Microsoft's own servers.

These are trial downloads with trial product keys. They are 100% legal as long as you don't pirated key when installing or activating later. Normally, you get A TRIAL PRODUCT KEY on the download page. These can be found all over MS' site. It's an easy way to get one, but I preffer other sources...

For anyone who doesn't know what the "N" means there is no Windows Media Player in that version. It is removed due to some European Commission thing.

Again, these are trials that you can get from Microsoft FOR FREE and have TRIAL product key included. It's no piracy as long as you use trial key and buy this software. It's piracy when you enter FULL product key without buying it.
