Problem is most of the users don't have iPhone or iPod Touch.

Well, than I suppose those people don't have to vote, or reply.
I'll do the list of my most commonly used apps later, but I voted on the poll now. I've got a Jailbroken iPhone 3GS.

I have the 3.0 jailbroken firmware install on my 3G. There is an empty space right of the App Store, under the Calculator. Am I missing something or am I just crazy.

Did you try pressing on it and see what app is there? Maybe it's Cydia/Icy.
If it's empty, drag an app to the space.

As for me, I don't have any iDevices except for a 4th gen iPod Nano.
Probably going to buy a iPod Touch. Prices on iPhones are outrageous.
Program run condition: collect keys. Deadline: 2 days.

It's the Compass that's missing. How do I get it?

Even if you press where it's supposed to be it isn't there, or it's there but no icon?
Is it on the other pages of apps?

Edit:

Well, I was trying to jailbreak today (with Blackra1n), that didn't work, every time I needed to restart the OS, it would need to be re-connected to iTunes and restored (tried using Blackra1n at that point, didn't do anything).

Anybody know a foolproof way to jailbreak a Tough 3rd gen with 3.1.2 firmware?
As for apps, here's my list:
Chat: IRChon (for IRC), MobileLinked(for MSN)
Administrative: Remote Desktop Lite (Just for kicks, it's funy sowing it at school and all the n00bs going "OMFG! How'd ya get windows on an iPod?" )
Games: Snake DOS lite (not so bad), Minesweeper Classic Free (Quite nice, looks like the real winmine.), xZorro (basically xBill with a different character)
Google: Google Earth, Google, Google Wave (web app)

blackra1n works, you HAVE to do it every time you turn it off and on though.

Probably my favorite piece of software for my 2G iTouch is Proswitcher. It's a jailbreak app that let's you multitask using cards, a la the Palm Pre. A bit slow, but still incredibly useful.

Count me in, im anti-apple anyways. Not a fanboy, just cheap. Besides, my 5 year old Dell Axim with wm5 and Opera 10 Beta can surf the web just as good as the itouch, with its 520mhz ARM processor, only 64MB of RAM, but hey its 5 years old.

Along with Softmaker Office 2008 and some old games (not as nice as the itouch, but free) its still a pretty useful device in 2010.
