this isn't my main pc, just one of my old FLP rigs

I've been keeping it simple lately, especially considering I've been reinstalling this machine every couple of weeks for a few months now.

I change wallpapers as often as I change my underwear (every day!), so by tomorrow or, a couple'a days later, this will be redundant... But anyway:

You should get the hi-res wallpaper package from the FTP and use an auto-changer so you get a nice random picture every day or every few hours

Heh, none of the walls on the FTP interest me. I tend to like peculiar and un-conventional wallpapers, such as:

(I made it work safe, but you get the idea...)

I must run Linux, because my 2 500GB "WD500AAKS" disks failed and now I created a 20GB partition only for Ubuntu.

Neither by the look of it. It has the Vista/Win7 weather gadget and Vista/Win7 icons. Looks like a theme to me.

Not a bad idea given that the image uploader compresses the images a little, fine for screenshots but not so great for wallpapers. Although, most wallpapers are made by someone, unless you took/made the wallpaper yourself you should really just post the link from which you got it.

My picture got not really compressed, on my PC it used 411 KB (421.336 Bytes) and when i uploaded it with the BA Image Uploader the size went to 1140.98 KB (1168368 bytes) 8-)
