Is it possible for someone to make an all in one with Chicago,95,96,97,98,98SE,99?
If someon could, that would be awesome. Or if one of you guys can tell me how. I want to make some as well.

its possible but why would you bother? if your going to to all that trouble a win95-win98se-winME disc would of more use.

that's an even better idea

A all in one with

95
98SE
ME

and if it is possible, 96 and 97

Windows 96 is real, it's in the FTP
Windows 97 is also real, but no builds leaked.

What folder are you looking in? For me it jumps from 95 to 98 like normal and I have always heard 96 and 97 are fake.

Windows Nashiville is commonly mistaken as Windows 96. :P

I dont think 97 is real... Do you have any proof... like screenshots, if you can find them.

Okay, let's not argue about whether it's real or not, because doing so is against the rules. Anyway, Windows 97 is not the first few builds of Memphis, version number of Windows 97 is 4.20, and all Memphis builds are version 4.10

and motherboardlove, I don't any proof that Windows 97 is real, but I'm not going to get into that

I just don't lnow how to do that
i know that i need a boot setor but iwas wondering if someone who nows how could save some space
for example there is a Windows XP 9in1 or AIO (search Google or "download sources") that has XP pro, home, and MCE in a 6xxMB image. When opened it says that it is 2-3GB! I read that whoevere made it made it so that files that are TOTALLY EXACTLY th same are not copied multiple times. That's what I want. Like a 95-98-ME cd that is really a CD or up to 800MB.

The standard cdrom i use for 98SE installs is a composite 95/98SE/ME build. It has MSDOS 6.22 and Windows + Wfw 3.11 on it too, because the installed versions are all upgrades, and ye need an older version to go.

Code:

 ADD-ONS       from the winme cdrom
 ADMIN         from the win98 cdrom
 BIN           home-grown stuff
COPYOVER      copy this over win9x after install
 DATALINK      from the win95 cdrom
DOS           dos 7.1 extracted and fixed up [inc the EBD files]
DRIVERS       new stuff, eg usb for win98 [hover + pictures only]
FUNSTUFF      from the cdrom - get rid of the movies
INSTALL       at the moment, just bitmap files
 OTHER         from the win95 cdrom
 PATCHES       home grown
PLUS95        from diskettes - inc msminus, my thinned out msplus/95
PLUS98        from a zip file - four apples extracted for separate install
 README        text files from w0950 w1214 w1998 w2222 and w3000
RESKIT        from the reskit/98 cdrom - a directory for win95 reskit
TOOLS         from the win98 cdrom - inc resource kit samples.
WIN9X         from the winme cdrom  b3000  - we delete the AVI here.
WIN31         from diskette images.  The 'dual-boot' install allows post install
 WIN95         from the win95 cdrom, b0950
 WIN98         from the win98SE cdrom, b2222
 autorun.inf   just the icon
d1.dsk        the boot disk, including jo.sys (press any key)
 win95cd.ico   from the win98 cdrom

It is taken as valid source for upgrades for, say Win2k or WinXP.

Keeping the same directory structure allows for programs that copy things from the cdrom to do their things,

There's supposed to be a version of it running around with the DOS addins (the 6.22 files from Win95), modified to run straight under DOS 7.0, 7.1 and 8.0. I wrote an installer for each of these. (ie what's in 95:\other\oldmsdos that requires setver to be loaded.

One version was running around that had files lifted from betas, including EDIT listed as 'chicago emergency editor', and MSD 3.00 (with a non-functioning to registry).

AFAIK, the ISO 9660 file system doesn't actually have any support for symbolic links and it's some sort of hack. I have a 15-in-1 XP disc on a DVD, but it's still about 1.3 GB. I would love to know if there is some easy way to do this.

The ISO file spec does support hard links (where two directory-address point to the same file), but it does not support soft links.

DOS has no problems reading cdroms prepared with --duplicatesonce from mkisofs.

Well then, I guess you still need some way to get a boot menu... and figure out how to get it to boot different installers.

There are assorted tutorials etc for getting Windows 9x to boot using a cd-rom and ram-disk. Its petty tricky, though.
