A big thank you to Ki-Chi-Mi is in order for coding a script to bring the new topics display back online! You can view it on http://www.betaarchive.co.uk.

any chance you can add who made the last post in the topics?

An update has been made to the new topics display:

Feature Added:
- Username colours to display which group a user is in
- Who made the last reply to a topic

Still to come:
- Clickable usernames to go to the user profile
- Date/Time of last post

Pretty good so far, but in my opinion the font looks awful. Try using the font used on the forum index page....

Quite nice, kudos to Ki-Chi-Mi for the great scripting.

ADD: I think it's the font of the blurb next to the topics display that looks awful, if you were to change it to the same font as the topics display it'd look better

When you click on a persons name, it tries to take you to the persons profile but there is a forward slash "/" missing between the words "forum" and "memberlist".

That one (but has been said already).

And what I personally would like to see it an button to go to the last new post like on the forum, you click also on the button to view the latest posts.

Yeah, a link/button to here would be nice on the frontpage, if it were placed somewhere tasteful.

"mark forums read" somewhere visible at the top of the page, instead of having to link through the Board index.

Hows that? Its up near the new posts, unanswered posts and active topics links.

Edit: Moved it to where the FAQ, Search and Members bar is, its easier to make it appear on every page there.

There seems to be an issue with the encoding, some characters are not displayed correct (in this case its a "ü")..

Works perfectly fine on mine.
