Is there a way to get Glide graphics acceleration working in this version?
I have tried several Glide wrappers but not a single one seems to work propery with this game....
did anyone succeed?
Yes I did, you need to change the config file first, although on some machines it will never work. Change the renderdevices where needed to: GlideDrv.GlideRenderDevice
I never got it to work on this laptop though, on my older PC I got it working well with glidewrapper. Btw it is a whole new experience on the glidewrapper, on sioftware you cannot enable coronas and high detail effects, it really is cool on glide, there are also rocket lens flares and stuff which was not even in final game.
