Make sure you entered the logon info correctly. There are about 8 people on at present so it is working.

Yeah, it's not working right now for me either. Didn't change anything; it was working day before yesterday and maybe yesterday morning.

It works for me and Koptor so I don't see why it won't work for anyone else.

* Looking up irc.betaarchive.co.uk
* Connecting to www.betaarchive.co.uk (82.0.59.66) port 6667...
* Connected. Now logging in...
* Closing Link: [204.90.50.252] (Throttled: Reconnecting too fast) -Email kline@betaarchive.co.uk for more information.
* Disconnected (Connection reset by peer).
Cycling to next server in betaarchive...
* Disconnected ().

It just keeps doing that over and over. I really don't think I was k-lined for anything I did...Maybe your IRC server isn't friendly with IRC clients other than mIRC? :?

Ill ask Koptor to look into it. He manages the IRC. It could have something to do with his end since he hosts the services.

The server is definately fixed now. If it doesnt work for you, check your logon details and settings. If it still wont work post here as it is likely that it has crashed.

Personally I don't use IRC etc as I don't know enough about using it, I'm too shy to say anything on that kind of thing, and if I did say anything I'd probably just be getting in the way most of the time, but I dunno about the others.
