How would you guys feel if I were to put adsense on the forums? It will help to bring in some money to help keep the site and hopefully the FTP alive. The ads will only be small but how would you feel about them being there?
The front page is rarely visited. Thats why if I put them on the forum they would display on every page, just under the title and nav links and just above the "BETAArchive.co.uk Forum Index" text. A forum I regularly visit does this and its quite discreet, and you can choose to ignore them if you choose since they are text ads.
Please note that we have certain policies in place that we believe will help ensure the effectiveness of Google ads for our publishers as well as our advertisers. We have thoroughly re-reviewed your account data upon receipt of your response and have reconfirmed that invalid clicks were generated on the ads on your site. According to our policy on this matter, we have disabled your account in order to protect our advertisers.
We appreciate your understanding.
Sincerely,
The Google AdSense Team
How can they disable a f***ing account i dont f***ing have?!
Looks like ads are off the list already... F***ing google.
Wow...that sucks. Well, that's Google for you. They disabled my account when I had them as well, so dont feel bad -_-.
You could try Yahoo's ad program, or Clicksor. Both of them are pretty good at bringing in the dough. I use Clicksor myself, and often times get more per click than I did with Adsense anyway.
Adsense rejected the application because of my previous website where I was accused of clicking my own ads, and I havent found any other decent advertisers.
For those of you who havent bothered to read my posts (and thats a fair few of you) you would have known that adsense is not coming to the forums because they rejected the application. Since I doubt itll ever happen Im going to lock this thread for now.
