Unless you only got like 3 MBs left you don't really make sense. IMPO, Poseidon is very lightweight as the program itself requires less than 3 MB of space and IE is already installed...

Heh, that's funny. How do you cache webpages?

And here's the first teaser:
This is the new icon and logo, looks more like Metro and thus fits the program better. I know the edges are a little rough, I'll try to fix it, but this is the basic idea...

I know I said the previous logo will be the final one, but I thought that after a short break the project needs a refreshment...
And here are two more screenshots:
As you can see, they demonstrate two new colors I mentioned earlier and the swap between Settings interface and Tray Icon groupboxes in the dialog to finalize the arrangement. I've already switched their places in the wizard in build 40, but forgot to do it in the dialog (+ I forgot to change some icon placeholders in the dialog aswell), so I did that now.
Another new thing are the Metro buttons. As you know, until now they've been blue regardless of the color you selected. But now I've rewritten the Metro button control so it now changes color to what you selected, which kinda unifies the UI. The change is not visible in above screenshots because I've just implemented it... So now all regular Aero buttons will be replaced with my own custom Metro-looking ones.

DeFacto, the logo's real good. Glad to see improvements over the UI. Ready to download on 15th!

Another minor update: I've improved the fav icon so it nows displays a placeholder if the site has no icon which also prevents a potential unhandled error...
And there's a new feature comming, what it is you'll see soon...

OK everybody, the project is back in action. I decided to shorten the development process, so builds 44 and 47 that were scheduled for release after 40 and are part of Alpha 1 stage will be skipped, instead we're moving directly onto Alpha 2 with it's first build 50. Please note that in the future I will avoid Alpha 1 & 2 stages competely to speed up the dev process.
Anyway, since I'm back working on Poseidon, here' what's comming in build 50:
Two new color options (purple and turquoise)
Setup Assistant improvements
Settings dialog improvements
WebM HTML5 Codec is displayed among other extensions
Fixed bug when re-opening from tray icon (window now maximizes)
Some context menu updates are now enabled and working
Other bug fixes and enhancements
So stay tuned for more info and download links.
Nice! Poseidon is back in the game. (might want to un-strike it in your signature). I love the new icon-looks very metro-like.
Finally getting a fix for re-opening from tray, and it'll be interesting to see what the other enhancements are not to mention the new feature!

Thanks John11, I appreciate it. I forgot to unstrike it from the sig, thanks for reminding me...
Yeah, the window will now maximize so people on laptops (like myself) won't have an oversized windows anymore (with 1366×768 being the most common laptop resolution)... You'll see the new feature tomorrow or later today, I will post some screens...

Wow, DeFacto, you got lots of improvements in Build 50. Looks like you built a rocket for yourself! A good question... What is the category of that NEW feature? And, any hidden things (like Easter eggs or anime character) in it?

What? I only ask you to leak the CATEGORY of the new feature and ANY hidden things in it, that's not too much.
Also, DeFacto, remember to change your signature...

How hard it is to wait a couple more hours when I'll post screenshots? Also, telling exactly what the easter egg is would void it's purpose completely... I will put something, but you'll have to find it yourself. And speaking of easter eggs, so far it appears no one found the little reference from build 40 yet or at least posted here about it, so find that one first before asking for more...
Anyway, Session Lock has been improved and is now more secure and sophisticated (the bottom toolbar is no longer visible when locked) and Auto-save for last session is now operational again. I've also slightly updated all dialogs and replaced all regular/old Metro buttons with new ones.

smartboyhw - the browser requires IE9 and full .Net 4. Once you get those ported to Linux or Mac OS, then ask about porting a program that requires them onto those platforms.

Anyway, here's the list of tested Windows version so far that work fine with Poseidon:
-Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1 with IE9 (9.0.8112) -Windows 8 RP 64-bit with IE10 RP (10.0.8400)
I tested these myself and no problems were found. Anyone using anything else, I kindly ask you to test the app for any potential issues and report the results. I will also test it on Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit RTM soon...
