I don't have a positive opinion, but nice work anyway. The Whistler and Neptune ones are missing something IMO.

All of your covers look good. Hint: the black is ugly on the longhorn cover, i think white is better :) ... plus improve the neptune's one and the whistler's one

Yes, I was planning on adding to whistler and neptune but I decided to base the covers on the bootscreens,I'll see about making a more complete version of them soon.

The sizes of the Windows flag and the fonts are off, and the placement is of the flags and logos are off center in most of them. The text on the spines are also too large, they'll spill onto the fold of the cases. The Product Key box is also too large for the key and misplaced on the backside of the cases as well.

Criticism aside, they're a good start and show potential. They're just not quite "there" yet.

System font prior to Segoe UI was either MS Sans Serif or Verdana...

Not exactly, it was Tahoma on Windows 2000, XP, and 2003 and MS Sans Serif on most of the OS's before that.

It seems you lack the brain capacity to understand this is not fake - it is CUSTOM WORK, if you like it you are free to use, otherwise stay away from the topic with [censored] posts like the one you just made... 8-)

Good job Jbrenn41140! Those look really nice, especially Longhorn and Windows 8. Also like the fact you put the keys into the covers.

I don't think we should be replying to msftwizard (looks like spam)... But good luck for msftwizard with getting official BETA covers...

You mean Nashville... ;) Nashorn is actually a rhino in German.

Lol.... there are not many Betas ,which get delivered with a cover.
You won't find them in the store. And Costum covers are probably better for people who burn the isos to disks and put it into a case.... A bit brainwork next time....

At all nice work. I like the Whistler one

Why would you need covers if you have them stored on a HDD anyways? ;>

Not necesarily, but many preffer to burn the images to actual discs and put them in a nice case --> requires a nice cover as well...

Nope. I installed Ubuntu onto my Netbook using USB, and then Windows 8 CP by mounting the ISO in Windows 8 DP-no need to burn for modern PCs. Main reason for having covers is to have a physical copy of the Beta, to look at and to have a backup.
