Looks like it matches the Metro UI well, and from the screenshot of Word it looks like the ribbon UI is still similar to Office 2007/2010 with metro styling so it shouldn't be a shock to users like Office 2007 was. Microsoft will have by far the best ARM tablet office suite if this is available for Windows 8 RT.

This site has posted a new picture of a Windows on ARM device (apparently with LAN support). You can notice the Remote Desktop Application (RemoteApp) connecting to app1.contoso.com as well as the Office 15 icons from the desktop.

Hmmm......contoso.com seems to redirect to microsoft.com. Weird alternative domain for Microsoft in my opinion.

Contoso and WoodGroveBank are non-existing company names, which Microsoft uses internally, for virtual companies testing. You can even see them in such previously confidential videos as GMail Man.

How does it can connect to RemoteApp even without internet? Look at the Internet Icon...

Most likely the tablet was part of a domain which was connected over a VPN; if you're connected to a VPN where Internet forwarding isn't working, it'll show the wired network warning icon, but you can still connect to and access "local" resources.

They are much wider because they are Metro tiles... I think the desktop icons will be just the picture with text underneath, if you know what I mean, so it will have the same dimensions on the desktop as every other icon.

Let's just call it a matter of personal taste, as I don't actually like the older Office icons.
