Well, some people at Techvortal were saying that SigmaOS 3.0 will not be released. Seems like I was wrong. I think I'll give it a try now, thanks for correcting me, as 2.0 version wasn't interesting.

Okay, working on it now. Will edit this post when complete. EDIT: Complete

Changes prior to M2:
Internet Explorer 7 & 8 I was working on newer versions of Internet Explorer since few days. It seems, that mshtml.dll patching (thanks to Pisarz) made it possible to run every build from 7.0 beta to 8,0 final. After few days of testing, I noticed, that the best working build of IE was 7.0.5346 (IE 7 Beta 2). Interface in this build was built for Vista Beta 2, so there are much references to Longhorn routines, and by the way, engine is very stable and works like it's final IE7, also, it's beta, so it really fits into LH. Everything is better than old and buggy IE6. Newer version of IE repairs a huge amount of Longhorn errors, for example, file download now works. Applications using Trident engine (f.e WTW) will work at full throttle. New IE engine provides better compatibility with modern websites, for example, support of transparency layer of PNG format. I left you a choice to return to old interface of IE 6.05, but with engine of IE7.
Optional: I released a package to update Internet Explorer to 8 version. As IE8 makes some trouble with Longhorn, I added it as stand-alone package for manual installation.
Updated RDP to version 6.0 Added new options while connected to newer systems than XP.
Experimental support for HD Audio soundcards Seems like it's a miracle, but it was simple task. The only required task was integration of KB888111 for XP SP2.(Microsoft UAA Bus Driver for High Definition Audio). If I'm not wrong, all HD Audio Soundcards should install without a single flaw now. If OS will be asking for HD Audio Bus Drivers, point it to folder: "C:\windows\system32\drivers" and then, install normal drivers from your soundcard provider.
Out of the box installation compatibility of all updates for XP SP2. Of course, if it isn't the update that replaces critical system files and destroy "Longhornity".
Link Layer Topology Discovery Support (LLTD) Known patch, also working in Longhorn. Thanks to it SigmaOS powered computers will appear on network map of Vista/7. I translated the update to english.
Segoe UI Light Font Just for appearance purposes. Also, it makes look Techvortal better in Metro Style.
Screensavers changes SigmaOS 2.0 had Windows XP screensavers. I removed them and replaced with native Longhorn screensavers. I also added exclusively prepared Clock screensaver in English.
System Restore and Windows Update removed System restore requires much space on HDD and lowers efficiency on older PCs also, it is not really needed in alpha version. If something will crash here, there's really, really small chance to fix it with System Restore. Windows Update is a trash in Longhorn, because there weren't any official updates released.
Flash player removed If you want it, install it on your own.
Autostart disabled Useful on OS that almost no modern antivirus systems work on, and there were never any security updates for it.
Ease of access key combinations disabled I think that some of you were in the state to throw your keyboard out. Especially if you rapidly clicked Shift key and "Toggle keys" dialog appeared, disabling your game.
I don't really think that somebody will use this operating system for daily tasks. It seems promising, and who knows, maybe they will surprise all of us, creating an alternative for Windows 8?

If it's based on Longhorn proper, it will never be an alternative to anything, just a fun little project to play around with every now and again.

Face it, the NT5 kernel is old.
It's 6.0 (SigmaOS is a mod of 4074), but in fact, it's a little bit old and I realise it.

This OS is most completed Customatization of Longhorn 4074 what I've ever seen.
Has build in self: DirectX 9.0c Windows Media Player 11 - works without problem Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 VMware Tools And Aero Patch finaly works and look cool
In VMWare 8.0.3 works great. Whole system is English, except that, what regional support is set to polish, what is very easy to be changed.

When Polish men are doing something, they are doing it to reach the perfection. And they are trying until it is completed. (This does NOT apply to Polish government and road building services ).
Back on topic: They are trying to implement the DirectX9.0C compatibility with Aero.

I suspect different HD Audio drivers will have varying levels of success. I ported HD Audio to 3718 back in the day for protoPlex, but abandoned it because sound quality with the HD Audio drivers I tested was simply unusable. Other people later repeated it and found it to be OK though, and some have had no success at all.
