@DeFacto, do you know the revision you've uploaded? I only know about REV A for English and REV D for Dutch.

As said, I'm uncertain wheter it was English or French, and I also don't remember the exact revision. I don't have it anymore, as I've uploaded it along time ago...

Are you sure the Compaq OEM one was proper? I remember checking out a Compaq OEM release but it was basically the same as the retail one, without any extra Compaq files, logos etc, so perhaps that's why it never got onto the site. In many cases OEMs release a retail version of Windows but with custom OEM stickers on the floppies. But the data itself doesn't differ.

Edit: And DeFacto, you did indeed upload a Compaq OEM version of Windows 3.1 (released 2011-09-05), but it was French, and it's in the BA archives. So perhaps you're referring to this one then?

Yes, that would be it. I was unsure about the language. Anyway, there should be a white Compaq logo on the bootscreen bellow the Windows flag...

If you have looked through the links in my signature you could see I own the English version. Anyway, i'm now uploading my original Dutch and English images (along with scans of the actual media).

The English Compaq version (Revision A) I own is changed visible. Some extra mouse programs and a changed "boot" logo. While the Dutch version (REV D) is exactly the same as standard OEM/Retail apart from the timestamps of the DISK* files and a slightly changed SETUP.INF (something with mouse drivers).

Excellent, I will process these for a release tomorrow. And if you got more OEM stuff just send it up, we're all interested as long as it's original and no custom hacks etc.

For OEM versions versions of the 3.x range I only have AUVA (English 3.10 @5.25", uploaded), Compaq (Dutch 3.10 @3.5", uploaded; English 3.10 @3.5", uploaded) and Highscreen (Dutch 3.11 WfW @3.5", not uploaded (yet), exactly the same as OEM/retail).

If someone wants the Highscreen OEM version, let me know... the scans of the actual media could be interesting for a Highscreen PC owner but don't expect changes in the data...

And about originality... There will be no fakes in my collection. Only floppy's could have some changed bytes in the images (not the files itself). That's also why I try to buy multiple sets of the disks, just to do a compare.
due to this comparing I have still some Dutch Word 6.0 disks laying around. Micrsoft had the anoying idea of destroying the empty bytes on MS Office floppys starting around 1994. The older ones are simple to put back in it's original state. Change the timestamps and change the contents of SETUP.INF. For anyone who wants to do this... don't do that with WinImage! It destroys some bytes. WinImage is a nice tool to image floppy's but NOT for changing timestamps the correct way. I found that out the hard way... had to reimage most of my collection... If you want to do it the right way, use a HEX editor...

Well, I found Windows 3.1 COMPAQ OEM in French, and it is revision G. There is a French version on the FTP (the one I uploaded some time ago), but I'm unsure as to what revision is it. Perhaps it's also revision G or some other. I'll be checking out both, as well as the Swedish version to find out what revision that is.

EDIT: The dates on the old one are 29th September 1992, on rev. G they are 10th March 1992. Difference between both DISK 1 images is in the file SETUP.INF, there are two additional files on DISK 2 of rev. G and on DISK 7 of rev. G there are 15 files less. The rest is identical.

Unfortunately, I can't determine the revision of French and Swedish versions on the FTP. It seems the only major difference is the label on the media but these weren't provided/found for these two releases. Anyway, I'll soon upload revision G.
