I've been making some programs over the months (years) and here are some of them.
Let's start off with 'Nova': The Nova line of products are created using VB.NET and are made from scratch. Currently, I am coding/have coded a web browser, a text editor, a media player that isn't simply the Media Player control (but it still uses WMP's codec, will be changing soon) and some desktop gadgets. The only ones that can be shown at the moment are the web browser and text editor.
I've been coding both for about a year now, but there's been long gaps when I've been doing nothing. Here is a picture of Nova Browser's (Pre-RTM) main window: And Nova Text (v1.02):
Tell me what you think, and what programs could be added to Nova! Download links for Nova Text will be added by request, but I really, really can't be asked at the moment.

Sorry for bumping my own topic, but I am still making this. Yup, amazingly, Nova is a project that didn't get cancelled 5 days into development. For Nova Browser, I got rid of that very annoying white line between the button strip and the bookmarks bar. I am also adding some extras since I am near the end of developing 1.00. The current build is "1.0.102.0.x86.novamain.120404-2324". And I'm doing the builds properly instead of jumping from '100' to '4829'. For Nova Text, there's been a UI change and now the tool strip is at the top.
I've also got some non-Nova related applications that I coded either entirely out of boredom or for general reasons. I made an error generator which can generate normal message box errors, pop-up messages and full screen BSODs in various colours. I'm also making a program with disastrous results called "Desktop Gadgets", and I'm pretty sure the title is self-explanatory. So far, I've only been able to make "Desktop Notes". I might integrate this into Nova. Other things include 'Hit The Dot': you need to just simply click the dot to win points; Speak: a text to speech program, has been cancelled; and more.

This line of products looks very interesting. Could you upload your latest builds to Rapidshare or something like that so I can give you a solid review? PS: Think about turning Nova into an entire environment!!!

Should've been more specific with the whole 'scratch' thing. It's made from scratch apart from the engine, which is currently switching between Gecko and WebKit, because I can't make up my mind.

I'd like to ask you to already block cookies from yieldmanager.com, doubleclick.net, fastclick.net, etc. on your browser as default. This is really a thing we need. Your software looks awesome!

Or make a function to allow a list of urls to be blocked, or see if Adblock is supported by the engine/if source code is available, and try and mod it in.

john11, just blocking yieldmanager for example would just not show ads, the cookies would still enter. Better block cookies and images as a built-in function.

If you block the url, how would it download the cookies? If you block cookies and images browsing the web isn't going to work very well.

A simple edit to the hosts file adding the line "yieldmanager.com 127.0.0.1" would still download cookies as far as i know. Also, i meant blocking cookies and images from malicious sites only.

Yeah, I was just trying to figure out how you would block cookies and images from only malicious sites, without using the urls of said sites. I don't really know so its probably no use explaining
