I need to install Windows 8 release preview on my Windows laptop (its formatted now, can't do anything), but CDs are so unreliable, so I'm using USB. However, I can't seem to make a Windows install USB very easily on OS X. Is there a way how? FYI, I'm using a Hackintosh with Snow Leo. Please, PLEASE reply fast.

But will it be okay if I used a Windows machine to at least make it bootable? These USBs copy really slowly on OS X
It *should* work if you throw a bootsector on the disk. I can't say for sure, as I always created the boot sector first and then copied the files to disk instead of the other way around.
