Well maybe wednesday we will get a Developer Preview of Windows Server 8

I hope so, it's been 3 months since the last leak? For a while there they were coming thick and fast (similar to before Win7 release). Maybe Microsoft cracked down and found the people leaking the betas? You'd think there would be a release containing the UI that was demo'd a while back by now.

Or the case must be that microsoft had paid people to leak beta in order to build enthusiasm in the beta collector world. Moreover, they can have millions doing beta test on a build instead of just a few employees. Maybe it is just that microsoft felt that they've had enough of promotion via leaks and they will have a successful way forward to the RTM.
