Forum rules

Please read the following rules before posting a download request in this area:

1. Don't post a request if you have under 10 posts as stated on the front page. If you do anyway, it will be deleted without further notice. This also applies to other members: If you see a request by someone with less than 10 posts and it hasn't been deleted yet, please don't reply to it.
2. Don't request for warez or any copyrighted software. Only betas (no matter how old or new) and finals of operating systems and applications that are at least 10 years old and therefore classified as abandonware are allowed to be uploaded to and shared on the BetaArchive FTP server.
3. If you have your own FTP server where you'd like other members to upload what you're looking for to, please don't post its login details in any open forum as that will probably lead to abuse. Post the login details in the Private Servers section instead.
4. Check that we don't already have the file on our FTP servers. If you don't have access to the FTP servers then ask someone who has (a moderator for example).

Well I don't know if they're there already, since I don't really know my way around just yet... But if you say so...

Are they for Windows NT for MIPS or PPC edition?
If I could install Windows NT over a qemu emulator of those architectures, I'm sure I would want them. However, the installation of NT 4.0 MIPS stuck after the first reboot, and I tried quite a few times without success. I don't know how to boot the installation CD on PPC either. Can you help me, or how do you test those files?
By the way, is [axp] same as Alpha?

Yes, the Internet Explorer versions are for NT. I tried the MIPS version myself in QEMU, it works perfectly fine. I can't help you on the installation of NT sadly, because I downloaded a pre-installed QEMU image.

AXP is the same as Alpha, yes.

Thanks for the information. And may I ask what version of qemu are you using, and where can it (or the pre-installed image) be downloaded? It is quite hard for Windows users to find a perfectly working qemu virtual machine ported from linux. Many thanks.

I would link you to the pre-installed image, but the link appears to be down. However, you can get the version of QEMU I am using here. Hope that helps.

Where can I find a proper mipsel bios for this version of QEMU?

Hmm, I think this version should work. Don't follow the instructions, but just take the NTPROM.RAW, copy it to the Qemu folder and rename it "mipsel_bios.bin". That should be enough to get it to work.
