Hmm? The FTP's server's MOTD was "Welcome to the Microsoft FTP server, please visit microsoft.com blah blah blah" up to the last second. No sign of an impeding closure. Not sure about the readmes but I didn't see anything there either.

I have mirrored the server. It's about 70 GB. I deleted MS Defender virus definitions - about 20 GB. /Services/whql is 25 GB of drivers, most people can also skip this.
