I'd be highly interested in 10/2001 and 11/2001, could you please upload them when you're finished with '97? (unless the older stuff has higher priority, of course)

Ok, I'll finnish 1995 (the last 2 CDs are uploading right now). Then I'll upload 1/97 (sierra special for sierrachest) and 3/97 (sega rally). When these are uploaded, I'll upload the 4 CDs of 10/01 and 11/01.
EDIT: The file index will come later, currently I'm too busy. But I'll upload isos non-stop.
Done: -PcGames 01/97 -PcGames 03/97 -PcGames 10/01 A -PcGames 10/01 B -PcGames 11/01 A -PcGames 11/01 B

The demo is about...well it starts, cam in sky, shows a moon and it has a face, then cams down to a house going inside where its very dark, and then these 2 vegetables that talk weird appear, and there's a mean tomatoe or something with an eyepatch. The two vegetables get lost at some point because the girl veggie gets kidnap. That's all i can recall really.
After 9 almost 10 years of searching for this game.....I now realise its on the front cover of the 100 games arcade... How could i have been so blind?! Although only demo is on the web. Thanks anyways.

Hmm... Does anything contain a game called Aro II? It's a platformer that I remember fondly from when I was around five or six.
Seems like there is only Aro, but no second installment: http://www.mobygames.com/game/dos/aro (I actually remember a dos game named "Aro & Elmi", but I guess it's not related )

I'm still uploading stuff, even though a guy has 4 hostages and shoots at the police in my village only 900 meters away from my house! (I feel slightly unsafe) He finally gave up

As you can see, 1997 is up. I'll now upload some stuff from In'side Multimedia (First CD mag in Germany) (they are a little bit tricky if you want to view their videos an such stuff )
Done: -In'side Multimedia 1994: 05, 06, 07, 10, 11 1995: 01, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 09, 10, 11, 12 1996: 06, 07, 09, 10 11(<- important, has websites that were not saved on archive.org)
A little statistic, to show progress and probably bump the thread, because it's obviously still alive. CDs currently up: 107 within 22 days. For comparison: abandonware-magazines has 350 in 10 years cd.textfiles has about 650 in 9 years shoonay.thecompany.pl/Biblioteka has ~220 in 1.5 years (ignoring floppies)
CDs that I still have to upload (ignoring the ones from the post above): //Ignoring 2002 and later

I haven't checked these forums for a while, and just noticed this thread. Hallfiry, it's incredibly awesome! ^_^
It's a lot of fun to rip all these CDs and upload them (and bother my online games loving brother that way).
By the way: if anybody has old magazine CDs that s/he doesn't need anymore, I'd even pay for them. Just write a PM or a mail to hallfiry@gmx.de.
I will try to upload the 1998 and 1999 GameStar CDs this night and add them to the corresponding folders. I can't upload on Monday and Tuesday, because I'll not be at home at all.
If somebody wants me to upload a special CD or DVD (or a complete year of a magazine) as soon as possible, s/he can post here and I'll see what I can do. The special DVDs are already enlisted as TODO in the Misc folder. (Diablo 2 DVD, Warcraft 3 Promo DVD, E3 2001 DVD).
Protip: For people who live in Germany and want to help expanding the collection: Go to your local Bauhof (=Recycling Yard) and ask where to put old CDs. Ask if you may take magazine CDs from there and then look through the piles (or how ever they store the CDs) and collect everything you can. This really works. As you can see from the first post, I got about 60 PcGames CDs from 1995 till 1999 there on only 1 day.

BTW, the PC Player CD # 8/95 says it's got a playable version of Stonekeep. Is that so? I don't think there's a playable demo of that game on the net anywhere, only a non-interactive slideshow.
