Glad i pass the system requirements. Gonna get it for sure... IF What i hear about an active internet connection being needed EVERYTIME you start the game is false. But if its true, sad me... i will stick to Simcity 4.

I love SC4, and the whole series in general.
But have you guys heard the news of needing internet to run the game?
Every time you launch the game? Or just when activating?
If internet is needed constantly... I don't think i'll buy it, much rather have the requirement of having an official disk in drive when playing-not having to connect to the internet.
I'll have to see if I can get the expansion for SC4.

SimCity Reactor's back? RUN FOR THE HI-
Oh. Yeah. I'm excited for the new SimCity myself. Watching the internals videos Maxis has put out showing the 'agents' and transport systems for water/pollution/electricity/etc is just amazing.
$99.99, not cheap. And it requires internet on all the time? So basically you can buy it legally, or download a free cracked version... Is this really a good idea?

99.99!? Are you sure that's not a mistake
Mistake? New games usually cost around that much, and considering GlassBox etc. it might be worth it. But I got my SimCity 4 for $19.99, so I think I'll wait a few months/years to get SimCity for around that price (I don't spend much on games).

Uh, where exactly do you find games that costs $99.99 unless it's Collector's Edition releases? If you buy "ordinary releases" for that kind of money then you're getting scammed my friend . I doubt they are even that expensive of Steam or Origin.
As for Sim City, I really hope it turns out well, but EA has tarnished and destroyed so many classic games and game studios by now that I fear that Maxis (which is the same as EA) will be next to the slaughter bench of low quality money milking titles.

I thought that was a usual cost for new release, although looking now I can't see any for that amount, some $88 etc. I suppose $100 for SimCity would be a lot then. Personally I usually don't buy new releases (most I spent on a game was Skyrim in January which was $68).
