Since there are 8 different images, how can I upload those to the Forums? Or do I need to put them on some hosting service and then insert the URL for each in my post?

The images need to be .jpeg or .png. If one doesn't work, try the other.

They are .jpeg (actually, .jpg). Changing them all to .png would take considerable time, and I doubt would make any different, other than to clutter up the Image Uploader with useless images.

Well, it's required that the images be posted. If you want to perform a test, upload an image to an offsite uploader, copy the link, paste it into an [img] tag then preview post and see if it gives the error.

I also have no idea if you're using the image link from the uploader or the bbcode from the uploader, but it would be a good idea to try both.

Edit: If you can't embed images just post a link into a post, I don't believe it's a requirement that they be embedded in a post.

You need to use the BBCode given from the Image Uploader, not just the link.

Don't use the multiuploader function of the Image Uploader because it's broken; it likes to drop off all the filename extensions when you use it.

I was using that, so now I know that's the problem. I'll try imageshack and see what happens.

Just note that you're not allowed to use [img] tags with any images not uploaded with the BetaArchive Image Uploader.

Okay, I'm not having any luck. Imageshack gives me a Link, Direct Link, Widget Code, Forum Code, Alt Forum Code, and HTML Code, but I have no idea which one to use. I've tried Link, Direct Link, Forum, and Alt Forum, but when I click Preview, I see no image.

What do I need to do to make this work?
