Hi everyone!
i'm new. Wanted to know your thoughts on the ML beta, worth upgrading from Lion when it's released this year or not? I'm thinking about saving up, but I'm no good with money really haha. Cheers!

We can't really tell yet because Mountain Lion is only Dev 2, But I think It will be worth it to upgrade. if not, Lion is fine anyways.

I upgraded my primary partition to Mountain Lion DP2 and it's a great update - I couldn't go back to Lion if I tried at this point. Notification Center and iCloud integration alone are two groundbreaking features.

Yes, it's worth upgrading. Even in the second Developer Preview, the interface went smoother and little useful features were added.

Personally I think ML DP2 is a great OS, I find it alot "snappier" than lion, Much faster IMO. It still has a few little bugs in it, Like Safari after a few hours of use sometimes craches & and a couple of random hangs but other than that, It's fine!

You're right about the speed, and yes I will not be dissapointed when full ML comes out, definitely buying it.

Me too, it goes without saying ! Have you tried the 10.7.4 update for Lion out? I was wondering if it brings much improvement ! Last time I downloaded a Dev Update though It kinda screwed my system so Im a bit dubious about installing it on my mac mini !

Personally, Lion was a hectic upgrade and for me, I felt that Mountain Lion is a more complete version of it (with more features, of course).

I would definitely get it.
1. They're always making software where you can't use it with older OS.
2. I've been waiting for notes and notification for Mac a long time
