Why is the server 350 miles away?

It's actually less than 50 miles away, for some reason SpeedTest thinks I'm in Scotland, but when I choose that Scottish server as my server, I get really high ping and low speeds.

Yea the server thinks Bournemouth is 100m away from me, actually its probably more like 360m away

My server is in Los Angeles but it says it's 50 miles away but I'm pretty sure its more than that...

About a mile from the exchange, but the sync happens at the cabinet which is about 100m away at the top of my street

Hmm, that seems to be pretty fast. Though you may get less speed when connecting to US or French servers.
