I was looking around and noticed that it has been exactly one year since the release of Internet Explorer 9, probably one of the best Web Browsers released by Microsoft (but I've noticed IE10 getting better in Windows 8).
I prefer Internet Explorer to Firefox but Google Chrome beats them all

You should try SRWare Iron. It's google chrome... but faster and more secure.
You do realize that SRWare Iron is simply a fork of Google Chrome with Google services, such as usage tracking, stripped out - right? It doesn't offer any additional enhancements other than that. (And a few bundled extensions such as ad blocking).

That's what makes it better. The usage tracking being cut out, more secure. And the ad blocking and other various things being cut out making it a tad faster correct?

Not necessarily - since usage tracking's data is sent only to Google, if you assume that Google is a trustworthy company you're not any more secure. And extensions actually slow down a browser if you have too many of them, so SRWare Iron could actually be (marginally) -slower- than Chrome. Also most AdBlockers load the ad's and then strip them out after the fact, so there's no increase in rendering speed either.

Unfortunately I was unable to try it, because I am using XP x64. Actually I have been wondering whether it was possible to force the install with Orca, but I never really wanted to mess too much with a working setup...

I actually feel betrayed by Google's new privacy policy. The only thing (And the most important one to all) is the Google search engine. Other than that I do not associate with Google anymore.

Unfortunately, IE9 doesn't work on XP at all.

Neither does in Vista. It's officially supported, but it crashes when loading the page, then reloads it, and then crashes again. It's the Crashing Ending Story.

Correction, fortunately. XP really needs to go away, it's been around too long.

Happy birthday IE 9! Even though I hate you... It still have massive problems for me on Vista, I can hardly load anything without it getting laggy and then crash.

I wonder if Internet Explorer's Microsoft developers use IE in their spare time.

Also try Google Chromium the open source build of Chrome. You'll have to update manually but its pure Chrome with no tracking and update background service. You can get the latest build for Windows here: http://download-chromium.appspot.com/
As far as IE9 goes I use it at school and its actually not that bad. The UI borrows from Google Chrome and it feels pretty light. My one gripe about Firefox has always been how bloated it can feel but I have many addons and customizations that other browsers dont allow. IE9 sunspider times are on par with Chrome and Firefox, compared with IE8 which was very slow. Microsoft still has to work to get rid of the bad PR caused by IE6, and they can do that by keeping IE up to date standards and security wise.
