Well, this time I bring good news: basic favourites functionality has been implemented! I still have some other things to do in this build, but hopefully I'll be able to release it later today...

Dunno if this is has already been mentioned, but in Build 31 I get an exception every time I start it up; details below.
Code:
See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.
************** Exception Text ************** System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found. at System.Net.WebClient.DownloadDataInternal(Uri address, WebRequest& request) at System.Net.WebClient.DownloadString(Uri address) at System.Net.WebClient.DownloadString(String address) at poseidon.frmMain.frmMain_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.EventHandler.Invoke(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.OnLoad(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.OnCreateControl() at System.Windows.Forms.Control.CreateControl(Boolean fIgnoreVisible) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.CreateControl() at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmShowWindow(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ScrollableControl.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.WmShowWindow(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.OnMessage(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam)
Also, it occasionally crashes when I try to close it.
Apart from this, it's a good start. I think you need to work on how the Metro style integrates with Aero, though.

That is due to host changes for update checking... Just disable the start-up check if you can access the settings dialog and don't check for updates.
Well, I would appreciate if you were more specific...
EDIT: Build 36 has been released! It brings you:
+ Feature: Favourites + Wizard: support the on-top setting * Update check: new host for update checking * Wizard: now goes from page 2 to page 3 instead of 4 * My Manager: fixed the anchor of some controls * Other minor fixes and changes
IMPORTANT: Due to host changes, the update check in previous builds will no longer work. This issue has been resolved in build 36.

I forgot to remove that part of the code... It was intended for favourites before I implemented them in the way they are now. Will be fixed in build 39.

Did anyone here tried to run it on a beta NT 6.0?
I suppose you mean Longhorn. --> No, I didn't, but it will probably fail as the .NET Framework 4.0 Full is required, but Longhorn doesn't even have a complete built-in Framework, so....

Here's another not-so-good update:
I've been really busy lately, as well as had some health issues, and I'm going to Poland in about 2 hours, so work on build 39 has been delayed for at least another week. Please note that this is a private build and only a selected number of testers will be able to use it. I'm comming back on Saturday, so I will start intensive work from that point on. I apologize for another delay, and ask you for understanding.
Also, the official name and logo of the project have been revealed; the name is Poseidon Browser, and this is the final and official logo:

I tested the browser and its really fast in loading pages.
But there is just some problems:
-The top bar hides without me clicking the hide button (Its better if you don't put hide (Just a suggestion)) -The only color in the bars is blue and white (Please put a feature where you switch the colors)
I also have a suggestion:
-In the setup assistant or wizard, please put flash player check (since people don't care about installing flash player for IE)
But other than that, its fast and nice.

Well everyone, this time I got some good news: build 39 is almost ready to go! I just add some final touches and then it will be released to selected testers. Depending on the feedback, another (this time public) build should follow in about a week. That's all you get to know so far, the rest is "clasified"... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On the other hand, I started thinking about version 2.0. I got inspired by the browser on Symbian Anna/Belle and did some preliminary concept (!) to see how it looks on a PC... Here's the result:

Looks very awesome. That looks like it would be very good for Tablet PC users like myself. It would be awesome to have a dual UI, as in this UI for tablet/touchscreen users and the standard UI for the regular users. That sounds like a lot of work though.

Build 36 doesn't work with my PC, because I don't have a C drive, only a D drive. It says that it could not find "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Posedion\Default\Favs". So, you might want to change it so that it gets the drive letter instead of just "C:\".
EDIT: I know I can skip setup but that is annoying.

This has been mentioned before, it's a letfover from my early favourites experiment. I expect you to run the wizard only once anyway, so bear with it until build 40...

Dunno if it has been mentioned but in order for the program to render in IE9 rendering mode you have to have a very specific registry key added otherwise the control will render things in IE7/8 mode.
Google can help you do it as I don't have the info in front of me. Also WHY TRIDENT?!
