Ok today i found that my MSN account was hacked and some what under contol my account was made in 2008. This is the first and only time i have ever had such a problem. This only being after using the mail apps in Windows 8 the hack has links to a site that i can't post due to BA rules. The hack changes your MSN picture to a porn one it then sends PMS to your friends it also adds randome people to your account.
So be warned the Windows 8 METRO mail client may have security flaws.

I have uninstalled it and the attacks seem to have stopped. I will update on this later.

It sounds like somebody's found at least one vulnerability in the new app system. Occurrences like this can't be all that uncommon in pre-release operating systems, right?

Please, MSN accounts got hacked way before WLM2009. I find claims of the Live integration in Windows 8 having security flaws a little far fetched.

I doubt it's because of the Windows 8 Mail app. Did you ever change your password on this account or do\did you use that password on more sites?
I had my Live account since 2006 (back before Microsoft made it Live Mail), and I had the same password on it until this year. Only reason I changed it was because it had the same password as the Steam Forums password, so I changed them both.
That's probably your problem. Just happened at this time due to a coincidence.

I am now 100% sure it was the windows 8 mail app i changed the password and the account just kept getting hack i then removed the windows 8 mail app and since then the attack has stopped so i say it's the mail app.

That's what I was thinking. Maybe he downloaded a hackers version, which would send the login info to the author.

Maybe you got some kind of virus? It's not like MS is going to hack your mail through the mail app as they could do it easier end better, your mail is on their servers anyway.
