So I have this Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTX graphics card. The one I have says 1510 mb in dxdiag but when i googled it only 768 mb models were available. Also, for some reason it only says 768 mb dedicated memory even though I have 1510 mb.

Chances are its sharing memory with your system RAM. While it has 768mb dedicated (Card mounted) memory, it is also borrowing some system RAM for a little extra juice. If you're running Windows 7, open System Properties. Chances are your System RAM will read something like "2.00GB (1.36GB avaliable)". This means the graphics card is sharing it

All?(Most) Graphics cards just share Memory with the system, even if they have dedicated memory. My Quadro 2000M has 2GB dedicated, but Shares a ton of ram with my laptop (I've seen my system report 9GB total Ram available to the graphics card)
