So I installed TipCam witch I enabled a mirror driver for, and at the time I didn't know that Areo had issues with those drivers, so I recorded, it disabled Areo, so I tried re-enabling it when I was done, didn't work, Control panel said it was, switched to classic and back, still didn't work, uninstalled Tipcam, still wasn't working *gasp*, removed a non working mirage driver, disabled another mirage driver, and it still won't work. :/ Any ideas why this is happening?

Also, whats the issue with mirror drivers and Aero anyways?

A Google search: "Mirror drivers are based on the Windows XP display driver model. The new Desktop Window Manager in Windows Vista is using the Windows Vista Windows Display Driver Model that is not supported by mirror drivers technology. Therefore, while a mirror driver is active, Windows disables Desktop Window Manager and Windows Aero."

In some way the drivers are still active\loaded. Either remove them completely or do a system restore to any point previous to install.

Try driver sweeper, this should remove the mirror drivers that are causing no-aero. Also try system restore if you still have the restore points on your PC.

If by VDC you mean "Virtual Desktop Connection" in which you mean the Windows RDP (remote desktop protocol) then yes if the client and computer are running a modern version, otherwise I have no clue.
