Because this has to do with my GPU, I thought it would go here, If it needs to be elsewhere, then I can copy & paste it elsewhere. Anyways,

So I play Battlefield 3 a lot on my Radeon HD 6850 always at low graphics so I can get the most life as possible out of that thing. Well, Sometimes when I exit out of the game, Immediately after the window closes on my taskbar a notification pops up saying something along the lines of "AMD Display driver has stopped working but has recovered." Can anybody tell me why this is??

It sounds like either your driver is outdated or corrupted, try updating it.

Also try cleaning out your computer, it might be causing your GPU to overheat and error out.

If its only sometimes, though, you shouldn't worry too much, my GTX 260 crashes sometimes but not all the time.

I had just cleaned it out a few weeks ago, and I tryed updating the drivers and it said, "You already have the best drivers installed" or something similar to that.

Ah, that's odd. If it happens a lot, try testing the GPU ram.

Also, are there any artifacts/graphical glitches? And does your GPU crash with other games?

No, The GPU runs any other game (so far) fine, and it said "1GB" on the box, but in Dxdiag it said 750MB. :c

That sounds like a driver issue then....

Try driver sweeper then reinstalling the driver to see if it helps.

Sometimes the latest driver on WU is not the latest overall. Go to the AMD site and download the latest driver ;)
