Ooh, look. You shooped a Win2k about dialog and Vista orb into a KDE desktop. I bow before your amazing skills of photoshoppery.

Wow, time to clean my glasses. I thought that was KDE logo, but it was Vista Orb...
But anyway, that's a good one.

In the previous Fake Screenshots Contest, Vista Ultimate R2 made a couple of "what if" posts - What if Windows 95 had Windows Vista's UX and What if Windows 98 had Windows 7's UX?
Now, Windows 8 is coming, and Windows ME was the next in line after Windows 98. Here is what Windows ME might look like if they used Windows 8's UX:

All Microsoft operating systems!
Compared with how Windows 8 really looks, the Metro themed Windows Me looks rather ugly. It just doesn't fit in.

Also, why are there blank tiles? Are they supposed to be placeholders, or is it supposed to be some sort of bug?

The blank tiles are just because I couldn't think of anything to put there.

People have said that Windows 8 will be the next Windows 1.01, what with how Metro acts and all. They're saying it again now that Microsoft has unveiled the new Windows logo. Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you my concept art on what the Windows 8 retail box will look like:

It was a perpetual contest.

You can't win, you can only be winning.

Question: This is a contest, right? It's gone on for months, when is the deadline?

Since the Windows logo was very choppy on the previous one, I decided to try again:
