I ACCEDENTLY broke my 3DS and my dad says its "NOT" covered by warranty because of the type of damage. :OD

Is this true?!?!
If so then someone needs to change this.

Sorry about that. The computer i'm using is laggy.
My 3DS is snapped in half. :cry:

I'm really sorry SM64Betafan, but I don't think that warranty would help.

Damage caused by us to the product is not covered under warranty. If it were, anyone could buy a new laptop, deliberately break it and give it for repair under warranty just for fun..

Check out in your area if an unofficial repair shop is there. They repair it for less expenses but since it is broken into half, I really don't think..

All you can do is to buy a new one, if your dad allows you to. If not, then you can only emulate those games in your PC to play them..

A kid can only dream of 3DS emulation. (No such real ROMS/Emulators exist. (3DS))

The ROMs do exist. They are on your Game Cards… And there are dumps… But do not expect ana emulator for at least 5 years…

I believe that even 3DS emulators exist.

DeSmuMe, No$GBA etc.

EDIT: I say that as I once emulated and played a Phineas & Ferb 3DS game, if I'm not wrong..

Can you post a picture? if it's just case damage, a replacement case will be about $20 and it's not too hard to have someone replace it. I'd also suggest one of those Nerf shells for it so you don't need to worry about damage as much.

I can verify this. I use DeSmuME on a regular basis, including for 3DS games. I'm not sure if it can run games directly from the cards, though, so you might have to learn how to dump the ROM.

Why not just repair it yourself? If you look at what's damaged and what needs replacing, you can pick up some new components off eBay brand new including tools on the cheap/
