Whats special about that?
I only see a normal desktop, give more information.

(sigh) As I said to the last person to post a "Custom OS" thread like this... a "concept" is more than just a screenshot or two and a vague statement of what you want to do. You have to be specific. What are the goals of this distro? How are you going to set up the system? What distro are you basing it on (if any)? What software are you going to include? How are you going to customize the system to fit your target user base?

Why's it in all caps? Is it an acronym?

May as well ask why openSUSE is half capitals half not. It's probably just a stylistic choice.

Gesellschaft für Software und System Entwicklung mbH (Lit. Company for Software and System Development) was founded on September 2, 1992 in Nuremberg, Germany, by twenty-somethings Roland Dyroff, Thomas Fehr, Burchard Steinbild and Hubert Mantel. Soulman, I wasn't saying that there wasn't a reason for the "SUSE". I was saying that why there are capitals or not in a name is kind of irrelevant most of the time.

You might want to look at Linux Mangaka's projects. I seem to recall parts of their interface being somewhat Longhorn-like, which you may find inspiration in.

INTELLIGENT Linux Concept Logon Screen

An Inuyasha fan, I see. However, in my opinion, that screen layout (as well as the preceding ones) would look a little....I guess "awkward" would cut it. It'd be fine on netbooks, but on larger screens something about it would just look wrong.
